How to start / stop / reload apache web server? -> service httpd start -> service httpd stop -> service httpd reload How to check status of apache server? -> service httpd status How to start / stop / restart mysql -> service mysqld start -> service mysqld stop -> service mysqld restart How to check status of mysql? -> service mysqld status How to check version of php installed? -> php --version How to update php on server? there are two methods for doin this up2date and yum -> up2date php (it will download and update latest php on your server) -> yum php (it will download and update latest php on your server) Other methods are to update from rpm packages -> rpm -Uvh new_package |
